Spend a Night in The Shire
Well not exactly, but definitely the closest thing to it. Woodlyn Park in New Zealand has quite the creative way you can spend the evening with them. They have a remodeled train, a refurbished ship, an airplane bomber or… a hobbit hole.
As you can see from the picture above, Woodlyn Park has built lodging literally underground and has also insulated the rooms so that you stay cool in the summer months and keep warm in winter. In the evening, you can join the lodge and have a drink and enjoy live music (much like the real Shire). The only thing missing is a gray wizard and a golden ring with mysterious writings.
So if you would like to stay as a Hobbit would for a night or two, visit Woodlyn Park and get a room at the Hobbit Hole.
Hobbit filming continues to resume and actors continue to share their fond experiences they are having out in New Zealand. We will keep you posted.
