This is a particularly exciting new photo of Freeman looking worried, as he should be in what looks like a spider’s cave! It shows a more dark and eery scene as opposed to the bright and sunny photos that were released of Bilbo in the Shire. So it seems like they’re keeping up with the suspenseful aspects of the film that The Lord of the Rings had. Enjoy! And stay tuned for more updates!

    speakin of this scene which to me seems to be in mirkwood after bilbo kills the spider and names sting…does anyone out there remember some scenes cut from the 77 hobbit toon showing the dwarves chasing after the wood elves and before that beorn ? I distinctly remember watching this in school (circa 81-82 ) and it had those scenes…and what happened to this footage?
